The Backpack Project

 

The Patchwork Foundation will host the 11th Backpack Giveaway on Thursday, August 12th, 2025 at the Kinsman United Methodist Church. With your generous support, we plan on continuing this giveaway each August!

 

 You can contribute to this project by making a donation in the online shop Donation Store, Mail in a donation, or Contacting Us.

Recognizing a need to support the local students and families, The Patchwork Foundation began the Back to School Backpack Giveaway in August 2014.  Along with the support of local businesses such as Staples, Hair by Julia, and the congregations of the Kinsman United Methodist Church and the Gustavus Federated Church, over 1500 filled backpacks, haircuts, and meals have been given away.
